Voici un petit clip documentaire d’ARTE sur l’Affaire Dreyfus
« La Tonkinoise », chanson datant de 1906, les paroles sont de Georges Villard et la musique, une polka « légère », de Vincent Scotto. Elle est écrite à Marseille et sera chantée sans relâche jusqu’à ce que la défaite de Dien Bien Phu en 1954. Représentative de la chanson coloniale, elle véhicule l’exotisme, l’érotisme, souvent sur un mode comique qui n’hésite pas à verser dans le racisme.
